EDI Connection Library Settings for Claims and Reports

Uses secure FTP protocol.  Enter user login and password provided by Waystar.  When using this connection type, the program will automatically name and upload the claim file and show a progress bar on the screen.

The following values are used for the Waystar connection type:

•    User Login & User Password:  Provided by Waystar directly to their customers via secure email

•    Host Name:  sshftp.waystar.com

•    Port:  22

•    Upload Directory:  upload (case sensitive)

•    Download Directory:  download (case sensitive)

•    File Extension:  CLP for 837P (Professional), CLI for 837I (Institutional) claims

ANSI 837 (Claims) Submitter/Receiver Library Entry

Note:  Loop 1000A (Submitter):  While not a requirement, Waystar prefers that the 1000A loop contain information about the organization rather than the individual billing provider.  Loop 1000A Submitter ID also exports in Sender Code GS02.

ANSI 270 (Eligibility) Submitter/Receiver Library Entry

The important fields are the Authorization information in the ISA section.  Use the login and password provided by Waystar.  (Go to Tools > Program Setup > Patient Eligibility for additional setup.)
