1. On the old computer, make a backup of the company file using the company maintenance program. See Company Maintenance for information on backing up your data. IMPORTANT: Copy the backup file to a location that the new SQL server can access.
2. If SQL is not already installed on the new server, install SQL Server. See SQL Database Requirements for information on SQL and workstation requirements.
3. Install EZClaim Premier onto the new computer. Be sure to include the Company Maintenance utility. See EZClaim Premier Installation.
4. On the new computer, open the Company Maintenance program and create a new company file with the exact same name as the company file you are moving. Do not enter data into this new company file, it will be overwritten.
5. Once the new company file has been created, use the Restore utility to restore the backup file made with the old computer.
6. You will need to contact EZClaim to obtain a new key code due to the software serial number changing.
